It all started when Pavol Kopec decided to provide market research and competitive intelligence in Slovakia and Czechia as a sole trader back in 2003. Later, as clients demanded benchmarking and research of multiple countries, it continued by establishing a limited liability company MARKETiN CEE, extending the team and focusing on the region of Central Eastern Europe (CEE). Since the scope of client requirements in the following years more often included markets beyond the CEE region, and with new contacts and experiences in the Western part of the continent, the company expanded it focus on the whole Europe, and was renamed to MARKETiN EUROPE.
